Report by Lisa Satterwhite,
Chamber of Commerce
For Saturday, August 18, 2012
Did you know... The Chamber is organizing a new map for current downtown businesses to help students and shoppers know our vendors in that area? The map will feature a listing, the Chamber web site and QR Code to be used on smart phones as well as the popular quilt trail web site. The Chamber is also organizing an initial marketing promotion for local specialty shops using various media. This will encourage the region to ‘Make A Day of It’ in Murray. Other similar promotions are being planned.
